Uniform or fair
Lotteries & public drawings
A high-stakes draw needs both unbiased selection and confidence that nobody controlled it.
Evaluation card
What “plenty” means here.
- Required property
- A reviewed process covering source, mapping, custody, timing, observation, and independent verification.
- If it fails
- The source is biased, the mapping favors outcomes, or an insider redraws after seeing a result.
- Relevant attacker
- Participants, operators, insiders, suppliers, or anyone able to predict or alter the draw.
- The Plenty Line
- Combine validated equipment or transparent public randomness with procedures, witnesses, logs, and a defined redraw policy.
- Why more is not automatically better
- Gigabits of entropy do not solve governance, custody, or selective publication.

The Plentropy rule
Protect the requirement, then stop.
Combine validated equipment or transparent public randomness with procedures, witnesses, logs, and a defined redraw policy.
Once that claim has comfortable evidence and margin, improve the next limiting factor instead of worshipping a larger entropy number.
